Aj Johnson (he/him) is an artist and writer who looks to find new facets of strangeness with each piece. He utilizes themes of horror and self-reflection in a majority of his work, and enjoys hearing the thoughts and reactions provoked by it. In addition to printmaking and writing, he also has a penchant for handbuilding ceramic sculptures, of which have ranged from centipedes to anatomical hearts and even a wolf’s head. Outside the realm of art Aj can usually be found playing games with friends or contemplating the passing of time, but occasionally he will disappear into the woods and return a few days later with ideas for future projects. This is his first time being published.
