Abby Blaney (they/he) is a senior Psychology major with a minor in Studio Art at Susquehanna University. On campus, they are a violinist in the Symphony Orchestra and a member of the Violin Studio. They work as a gallery assistant at the Lore Degenstein Gallery and as a research assistant in the Community Psychology Lab. After graduation, Abby aspires to build a career in social impact and pursue graduate studies in visual art. He strives to create art to express their voice visually and connect to viewers emotionally. Abby is inspired by the little things and the natural world, and they believe that the arts can serve as a powerful form of activism. Two of Abby’s works, Inert and Adrift, were published in The Sanctuary Magazine’s Spring 2025 issue.
